Palo Alto Networks Launches Secure AI-Enabled Workspace for Small Businesses

Palo Alto Networks has announced the launch of Prisma Browser for Business, a new secure workspace solution designed specifically to help small businesses operate safely in an increasingly digital and AI-driven environment.

The newly introduced platform enables business owners to configure and manage applications and AI tools while ensuring employees can work securely from any device and location. With built-in protections against phishing, ransomware, and fraud, the browser also incorporates AI controls to prevent sensitive business data from being misused or exposed.

As modern workplaces become increasingly browser-centric, small businesses now rely on an average of 36 applications accessed through web browsers. However, with the majority of cyber incidents originating in browsers, the need for enhanced security has become critical. The rapid adoption of AI tools by employees has further complicated the landscape, increasing risks related to data leakage and unintended automated actions.

Anupam Upadhyaya said the browser has effectively become the central workplace for most small businesses, used for everything from customer interactions to financial management. He noted that traditional browsers are not equipped to handle modern cyber threats or control AI-driven risks, adding that the new solution delivers enterprise-grade protection in a simplified and accessible format tailored for smaller organisations.

Prisma Browser for Business is designed to streamline digital operations by allowing companies to manage applications and workflows in one secure environment. It actively blocks AI-powered cyber threats before they can impact operations and ensures that AI usage remains controlled and aligned with business policies.

Industry analysts have highlighted the significance of the launch. Anurag Agrawal noted that the solution addresses a key gap in the market by enabling employees to work efficiently across devices and locations while safeguarding against cyberattacks and unintended AI actions.

As a global cybersecurity leader, Palo Alto Networks processes billions of threats daily for major enterprises. With this launch, the company is extending its advanced protection capabilities to small businesses, offering them the same level of security previously available only to large organisations.

Prisma Browser for Business is currently available in the United States, with a 30-day free trial allowing businesses to quickly deploy the platform and secure their operations in just a few steps.
