OPPO expands into Levant with new office in Amman

Leading global smart technology brand, OPPO, is increasing its presence in the Middle East by getting into the Levant market. A new OPPO market development office has been established in Amman, Jordan, to manipulate Levant operations, in addition to serving as a sales and marketing center, plus providing maintenance and after sales services for OPPO devices.

OPPOs growth into the Levant region follows the companys successful growth in the Middle East and Africa, where its smartphones have proved extraordinarily popular among consumers.

With social media presence already established throughout several platforms and reachable retail point of sales locations secured, OPPO is in a robust position to enter the Levant market. OPPO is committed to localization initiatives to supply better service to clients while turning into a key element of local communities. The OPPO Levant team already consists of 200 employees, 71% of whom are nationals.

Ethan Xue, President of OPPO Middle East and Africa (MEA), said: The Levant is of strategic importance to OPPO, and so we are happy to announce attaining this expansion milestone development with our entry into this interesting new market. Going forward, the Levant market will serve alongside the UAE and Saudi Arabia markets as the three main pillars supporting OPPOs sustainable increase in the Middle East.

Since entering the Middle East, OPPO has solidified its commitment to the region by bringing its flagship Find X model to the market for the first time in 2018, followed by choosing Dubai as the first global launch location in April 2019 for its new OPPO Reno smartphone series. The company enjoyed a successful 2019 in the region, and intends to give a boost to its role by introducing clients in the Middle East to more flagship and 5G products featuring OPPOs signature ultra-modern technology.

To date, OPPO is present in numerous markets throughout MEA, such as Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, Kenya, Nigeria, and now the Levant.
