Network International and Ant International Partner to Advance Digital Payment Solutions Across MEA
Network International, a prominent digital commerce provider in the Middle East and Africa (MEA), has partnered with Ant International, a global leader in digital payments and financial technology, to deliver innovative digital payment solutions to banks, fintechs, and telcos in the MEA region. The partnership, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding, aims to drive digital transformation and promote financial inclusion across the region.
The agreement was signed in the presence of H.E. Jamal Abdulla AlSuwaidi, the UAE Ambassador to Singapore, further underscoring the UAE’s commitment to fostering digital financial ecosystems.
Network International plans to leverage Ant International’s Alipay+ Wallet Tech solutions, enabling businesses in the MEA region to develop e-wallet capabilities for both stand-alone and super app platforms. Alipay+ Wallet Tech supports over 30 global digital payment methods, empowering Network’s clients to provide seamless online and offline QR code payment experiences.
The collaboration will also integrate Ant International's Antom platform with Network International's card payment processing capabilities. This integration will allow UAE-issued debit and credit cards to connect with local and global merchants, enhancing regional accessibility to diverse payment options.
“We are excited to strengthen our partnership with Ant International to expand their footprint in MEA, accelerating digital transformation in the region,” said Nandan Mer, CEO of Network International. Peng Yang, CEO of Ant International, emphasized the value of combining Ant’s innovative technologies with Network’s expertise in MEA to create growth opportunities for businesses in the digital economy.
