Oman is set to host its first-ever Muscat Flower Festival, an enchanting celebration of nature and art, as part of the Muscat Nights Festival. From December 23, 2024, to January 21, 2025, Qurum Natural Park will be transformed into a vibrant floral haven, showcasing a fusion of global floral artistry and Omani talent.

Organized by Muscat Municipality, the festival will feature world-class floral displays by designers from Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Spain, and the USA. Oman’s celebrated floral artist, Madhvi Ramesh Khimji, and her team of local designers will also present their creations. Notably, Oman is the first GCC country to join the World Association of Floral Artists (WAFA), adding prestige to this landmark event.

A centerpiece of the festival, Roots of Wonders, Canopies of Dreams, will rise nine meters high, creating a breathtaking visual experience. Show Gardens designed by international teams from Singapore, Thailand, China, and the USA will further captivate visitors.

For families, the festival offers a range of interactive activities such as crafting floral bracelets, painting flowerpots, and sculpting clay animals, ensuring a memorable experience for all ages. A bustling marketplace will provide opportunities to purchase fresh flowers, handmade crafts, and floral-inspired delicacies.

Hanan bint Abdullah Al Shuraiqi, Technical Supervisor of the Muscat Flower Festival, stated, “This event is a fusion of global floral artistry and local cultural elements, offering visitors an immersive experience that celebrates creativity, nature, and Oman’s heritage. We are excited to welcome guests from across the region to this vibrant, world-class event.”

The Muscat Flower Festival is part of the broader Muscat Nights Festival, which runs across multiple venues in the city. Together, these events elevate Muscat’s winter calendar, offering visitors a rich blend of culture, art, and entertainment.
