Zamania by Leo & Loona Opens at Ibn Battuta Mall, Bringing a New Era of Indoor Family Entertainment
A new indoor entertainment destination has opened at Ibn Battuta Mall, introducing a unique sportainment concept that combines physical challenges, interactive gaming and family-friendly attractions under one roof.
Located in the mall's China Court, Zamania by Leo & Loona is designed specifically for pre-teens, teenagers and families, offering an immersive experience that blends movement, competition and social interaction.
Already operating more than 20 locations across Europe and expanding across the GCC, the brand makes its Dubai debut with a venue inspired by manga-style design, replacing traditional indoor play areas with obstacle courses, interactive games, giant slides and adventure-based attractions.
The venue aims to address a gap in family entertainment by creating a space where older children and teenagers can enjoy activities tailored to their interests while still providing dedicated experiences for younger siblings and parents.
At the centre of the attraction is the Sportainment concept, which combines sport and entertainment through interactive experiences. Visitors can take on a double-level Ninja Warrior course complete with a zipline, interactive climbing walls, trampoline challenges and reaction-based games before exploring giant slides, racing simulators and multiplayer gaming zones.
Gaming is integrated throughout the venue, featuring attractions such as Mario Kart racing machines, penalty kick simulators, basketball games, tabletop football, air blasters and a variety of digital challenges.
For younger guests, Zamania includes a dedicated toddler zone equipped with soft play areas, sensory activities and imaginative play experiences, ensuring entertainment for children of all ages.
The venue also features an 80-seat café, serving burgers, pizzas, snacks and healthier meal options. Designed as an extension of the entertainment experience, the café provides a comfortable space for families to relax or for teenagers to socialise between activities.
Commenting on the launch, Elizaveta Rossiiskaia, who leads Zamania's expansion across the GCC, said the concept was created to offer more than a conventional playground.
She explained that while younger children have many play options, there are comparatively few destinations designed specifically for older children and teenagers. Zamania was developed to provide a space where they can stay active, connect with friends and enjoy a sense of independence while remaining part of a family-friendly environment.
Rossiiskaia added that Ibn Battuta Mall was chosen as the brand's first Dubai location because of its reputation as one of the city's leading family destinations, making it an ideal setting for a concept that brings multiple generations together.
Now open to visitors, Zamania by Leo & Loona offers families a new indoor destination featuring obstacle courses, gaming experiences, giant slides and interactive attractions designed to encourage movement, imagination and shared experiences.
