Miral to honor talent powering Yas Island at 2nd edition of Ruwad Awards
Miral, the leading creator of immersive destinations and experiences in Abu Dhabi, will host the second edition of the Ruwad Awards on February 12, 2026, recognising individuals and teams behind world-class guest experiences across Yas Island.
The annual awards programme celebrates the people described as the destination’s “pioneers”, who bring The Yas Way service culture to life through dedication, innovation, and leadership across attractions, hotels, and entertainment venues.
Miral said the initiative highlights the role of frontline and operational teams in strengthening Yas Island’s global profile as a hub for leisure, entertainment, and tourism. The company noted that collective efforts across the destination contributed to a record-breaking summer season, with a 15% year-on-year increase in visitation.
The 2026 awards ceremony will be held at W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island and will bring together employees and partners from across Miral’s portfolio, including theme parks, attractions, hotels, retail outlets, and entertainment venues.
Building on the inaugural edition, this year’s programme has expanded to 19 award categories, including five new categories aimed at recognising a broader range of contributions. Each winner will receive a cash prize of AED 5,000. In the first edition, more than 400 individuals were honoured for their performance and impact.
Miral said the Ruwad Awards form part of its broader strategy to nurture talent, promote excellence, and foster a culture focused on delivering memorable guest experiences across Yas Island.
