‘Mothers are the first school’: UAE leaders honour mothers on Mother’s Day
UAE leaders have paid tribute to mothers’ vital role in shaping values, resilience, and national identity, marking Mother’s Day with heartfelt messages of gratitude and pride.
UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan described mothers as a source of lasting strength for both society and the nation, recognising their role in nurturing generations with loyalty, responsibility, and perseverance.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, echoed similar sentiments, describing mothers as the “first school” and the foundation of every generation.
He highlighted that mothers are the first support system, shaping confidence, identity, and belonging in individuals from an early age. His message underscored the profound influence mothers have in building strong, value-driven communities.
