UAE President Extends Eid Al Adha Greetings to ‘All Who Call UAE Home’, Prays for Peace and Prosperity

President of the UAE Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan extended Eid Al Adha greetings to citizens, residents, and Muslims around the world on Wednesday, sharing a message of unity, peace, and shared belonging as worshippers across the country gathered for Eid prayers.

The UAE President performed Eid Al Adha prayers at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, where large congregations gathered to mark one of Islam’s most significant occasions.

In his Eid message, Sheikh Mohamed congratulated the Rulers of the Emirates, citizens, residents, and “all those who call the UAE home,” reinforcing the country’s values of inclusivity, coexistence, and community harmony.

He said: “We pray that God bestows His blessings on our nation and grants peace, stability, and prosperity to all.”

The message reflected the spirit of Eid Al Adha, a festival rooted in sacrifice, compassion, gratitude, and togetherness, while also highlighting the UAE’s continued emphasis on social harmony and peaceful coexistence among its diverse communities.

Across the Emirates, worshippers gathered in mosques early Wednesday morning to perform Eid prayers and exchange greetings with family members, friends, and neighbours as celebrations began throughout the country.

At the Al Farooq Omar Bin Al Khattab Mosque in Dubai, hundreds of faithful participated in Eid prayers in an atmosphere of reflection and celebration.

Meanwhile, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum also shared Eid greetings, wishing the UAE leadership, citizens, and the wider Islamic world continued peace, prosperity, and stability.

“Eid Al Adha Mubarak… May Allah return it to us and to you with blessings, goodness, and bounties,” Sheikh Mohammed said in his message.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum also extended warm Eid greetings to UAE leaders and residents.

Sharing an AI-generated video featuring his children, brothers, and father Sheikh Mohammed, Sheikh Hamdan wished for continued blessings of security, prosperity, love, and tolerance for the UAE and its people.

“May Allah Almighty bless this occasion with goodness, prosperity, love, and tolerance, and continue to bestow upon the UAE the blessings of security and prosperity,” he said.

The nationwide celebrations highlighted the UAE’s strong sense of unity and multicultural harmony, with residents from different nationalities and backgrounds coming together to mark the occasion through prayer, gatherings, and acts of generosity.
