UAE Leaders Perform Eid Al Adha Prayers, Exchange Greetings with Worshippers Across the Emirates

President of the UAE Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan performed Eid Al Adha prayers on Wednesday at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque alongside senior leaders, officials, and worshippers from across the country.

Joining the UAE President were Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, along with several Sheikhs and dignitaries.

During the Eid sermon titled “Our Eid is Sincerity and Sacrifice,” Dr Omar Habtoor Al Darei highlighted the importance of honesty and sincerity in strengthening both individuals and society. He noted that the UAE leadership established the nation on values of truthfulness, unity, and loyalty, which contributed to the country’s stability and progress.

The sermon also emphasized that sincerity reflects loyalty to the homeland and dedication to serving society, values that continue to strengthen the UAE’s development and social cohesion.

Following the prayers, Sheikh Mohamed exchanged Eid greetings with worshippers before reciting Al Fatiha in memory of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

Across the UAE, rulers and crown princes joined citizens and residents in Eid Al Adha prayers at mosques in their respective emirates.

In Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum performed Eid prayers at the Zabeel Grand Mosque alongside senior officials, residents, and worshippers.

Meanwhile, Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi led Eid prayers at the Sharjah Mosque in the presence of Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad bin Sultan Al Qasimi and Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi.

In Ras Al Khaimah, Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi offered Eid prayers at the Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi Mosque alongside Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi and members of the local community.

Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi performed Eid prayers at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque accompanied by Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi and senior officials.

In Umm Al Quwain, Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla offered prayers at the Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Mu'alla Mosque alongside Sheikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla and Sheikh Ahmed bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla.

In Ajman, Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi performed Eid prayers at the Al Zaher Palace Mosque, accompanied by Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi and senior officials.

The nationwide Eid Al Adha prayers reflected the UAE’s spirit of unity, faith, and community as leaders joined worshippers in celebrating one of Islam’s most significant occasions.
