Moro Hub Showcases Advanced Digital Infrastructure to DIFC Delegation, Reinforcing Dubai’s Smart and Sustainable Future Vision
Moro Hub, a subsidiary of Digital DEWA, the digital arm of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), welcomed a high-profile delegation from the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) to its cutting-edge facilities, demonstrating its critical role in driving Dubai’s digital transformation and sustainable innovation.
The delegation, led by His Excellency Essa Kazim, Governor of DIFC, included Arif Amiri, CEO of DIFC Authority, Ahmad Albastaki, SVP of Information Technology at DIFC Authority, and Muath Al Kubaisy, VP of IT Infrastructure. They were received by His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA, alongside senior executives from Digital DEWA and Moro Hub, including Eng. Marwan Bin Haidar, Eng. Waleed Bin Salman, Abdul Nasser Abbas, and Mohammed Bin Sulaiman, CEO of Moro Hub.
The visit focused on Moro Hub’s comprehensive digital capabilities in areas such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, smart cities, and the Internet of Things (IoT). These offerings support Dubai’s broader objectives of becoming a global hub for smart, secure, and sustainable digital solutions, in line with the UAE Net Zero by 2050 Strategy, Dubai Clean Energy Strategy 2050, and the Dubai Net Zero Carbon Emissions Strategy 2050.

The DIFC delegation received a detailed presentation showcasing Moro Hub’s service offerings across cloud hosting, security operations, smart cities, and IoT-driven solutions. This was followed by an exclusive tour of the company’s Green Data Centre, Network Operation Centre (NOC), Security Operation Centre (SOC), and Smart Cities and IoT Command Centre.
Each facility demonstrated Moro Hub’s role as a regional leader in sustainable digital infrastructure, offering secure and intelligent platforms for both public and private sector clients.
