Mohammed bin Rashid Meets with Members of Board of Young Arab Leaders
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, held a meeting with the members of the Board of Directors of the Young Arab Leaders initiative at the Museum of the Future. The meeting marked the first gathering of the newly formed board and focused on outlining action plans and initiatives for the coming period.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid underscored the essential role of Young Arab Leaders in cultivating Arab talent and empowering them to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Arab societies. He emphasized that the initiative, launched nearly two decades ago, offers Arab youth a platform to exchange ideas and collaborate with regional leaders.
He added that under the guidance of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, the initiative has been revitalized to provide support for youth seeking to contribute to a brighter future for Arab communities.
The meeting highlighted the crucial role of the 200 million young people in the Arab region, with Sheikh Mohammed expressing his confidence in their ability to drive economic, social, and technological progress. He encouraged all Arab talents to join the largest network of its kind in the Arab world, where they can contribute to high-impact initiatives and groundbreaking projects.
Furthermore, Sheikh Mohammed announced plans for the largest gathering of Young Arab Leaders at the upcoming World Government Summit in Dubai this February. The event will focus on developing initiatives and projects with active participation from Arab youth, marking a key milestone in advancing the initiative. Sheikh Mohammed reiterated Dubai and the UAE’s commitment to supporting young Arab leaders and their aspirations for success.
In December 2024, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed approved the formation of the Board of Directors of the Young Arab Leaders initiative, which consists of 11 prominent Arab figures from various fields. The board is tasked with steering the initiative toward greater impact and success.
