Ministry of Education Showcases Latest Innovations at GITEX GLOBAL 2024
The Ministry of Education (MoE) is participating in GITEX GLOBAL 2024, the world’s premier tech and AI event, showcasing its latest advancements in educational technology. Running until 18 October at the Dubai World Trade Centre, attendees can visit the Ministry’s stand (21 and 22) at the Digital Government Pavilion in Hall 18 to explore the innovative solutions transforming the UAE’s education system.
His Excellency Eng. Mohammed Al Qasim, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, emphasized the Ministry’s dedication to integrating modern technology into education. He highlighted that these innovations are essential to preparing the next generation for a rapidly evolving world.
One of the key features at the Ministry’s exhibit is the Smart Inspection Platform, which utilizes AI to enhance school inspection processes. This platform includes risk prediction, document verification, and scheduling tools, demonstrating how AI is revolutionizing school supervision.
The MoE is also introducing its AI Tutor, an educational platform designed for the UAE national curriculum. The AI Tutor delivers personalized learning experiences by adapting to each student's learning pace, offering progress tracking, quizzes, and voice-to-voice functionality in both English and Arabic.
In addition, the Ministry is showcasing Eshara, an AI-powered Emirati sign language translator aimed at bridging communication between deaf and hearing communities in schools. This tool reflects the UAE’s commitment to inclusivity by translating Emirati sign language into spoken or written language.
Visitors can also explore student-led projects on Smart Green Manufacturing, highlighting AI and 3D printing technologies for creating sustainable and recyclable products. GITEX GLOBAL offers students the opportunity to present their ideas to industry leaders and potential investors, fostering creativity and innovation.
Another standout feature is the Smart Interactive Teacher and Hologram Knowledge Transfer platform, which creates an immersive learning environment. This tool helps raise awareness of UAE heritage and customs, offering content in over 65 languages to reach a diverse audience.
Through its participation in GITEX GLOBAL 2024, the Ministry of Education is reinforcing the UAE’s position as a leader in educational innovation, aligned with the country’s vision for a sustainable, knowledge-based future.
