In a gesture reflecting the spirit of compassion and generosity during the Holy Month of Ramadan, ME by Meliá Dubai has partnered with the UAE Food Bank, operating under Dubai Municipality, to donate 100 Iftar meals to support communities in need.

The initiative forms part of the hotel’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme, aimed at strengthening community support and promoting responsible food distribution during Ramadan.

Supporting Communities During Iftar

As part of the campaign, the hotel will prepare 100 carefully assembled food bags designed to provide a nourishing Iftar meal at sunset.

Each food package will include:

1. Freshly prepared Majboos with Raita

2. Bottled water

3. A laban drink

4. Whole fruit

5. Dates

These meals will be distributed through the UAE Food Bank to families in need, community members and mosques across Dubai during Iftar time.

Promoting Responsible Food Distribution

The collaboration aligns with the UAE Food Bank’s mission to reduce food waste and redistribute surplus food responsibly, ensuring that meals reach individuals who need them most.
