MBRF to Launch 12th Edition of ‘Bil Arabi’ Initiative
The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF) is gearing up to launch the 12th edition of the renowned ‘Bil Arabi’ Initiative, celebrating the richness of the Arabic language and its role in reinforcing cultural identity.
Launched to coincide with World Arabic Language Day on December 18, this initiative aims to promote the use of Arabic across digital platforms, foster a connection to Arab heritage, and inspire pride in the language’s beauty and global relevance.
Celebrating Arabic as a Language of Science and Culture
This year, the initiative emphasizes the importance of Arabic as a tool for science, knowledge, and global communication. The event will feature engaging activities, competitions, and interactive sessions across major shopping malls and MBRF’s digital channels, aiming to strengthen young people’s ties to their native language while reaching broader societal demographics, including non-Arabic speakers.
A Decade of Influence
H.E. Jamal bin Huwaireb, CEO of MBRF, highlighted the initiative’s achievements, stating:
"Since its inception more than a decade ago, the ‘Bil Arabi’ Initiative has been a cornerstone in preserving Arab identity and elevating Arabic’s presence on digital platforms. Its recognition, including the ‘King Salman Global Academy Prize for Arabic Language 2024,’ underscores its global impact in promoting the language’s beauty and relevance."
In its 12th edition, ‘Bil Arabi’ continues its mission to engage younger generations and diverse demographics through dynamic programs designed to make Arabic a vibrant part of daily life.
