LG Electronics, a global leader in technology and electronics, has reinforced its commitment to innovation in cooling solutions by hosting a Technical Seminar in Dubai. The event brought together industry professionals, including consultants, customers, and contractors, to showcase LG’s latest advancements in Chiller technology.

The seminar provided a platform for Dubai’s leading real estate developers and industry experts to explore LG’s cutting-edge chiller solutions. Attendees were introduced to two key products: the AHRI-certified Centrifugal Chiller and the Air-Cooled Screw Chiller with VSD. These innovations are designed to enhance cooling efficiency while significantly reducing energy consumption.

Ahmad Abed, Regional Sales Director of the CAC Division for LG Gulf, opened the event with a keynote address, stating, “We are humbled by everyone’s presence and enthusiasm towards LG Chiller. This seminar is an opportunity to strengthen our position in the Chiller Cooling segment. While we acknowledge that we are not yet dominant in this market, we have strong products designed to meet the region’s cooling and energy-saving requirements.”

Ahmed Abu Salah, Chiller Head of Sales for Gulf, provided an in-depth presentation on LG’s Chiller technology, emphasizing its role in optimizing performance and sustainability. He highlighted the Centrifugal Chiller, which is part of the AHRI-certified full lineup and offers the world’s largest tonnage oil-free centrifugal chiller, available in capacities ranging from 200 to 2,200 TR. This advanced system delivers up to a 40% improvement in partial load efficiency (IPLV) compared to conventional two-stage chillers, resulting in a 30% reduction in annual operating costs. With a compact design, oil-free technology for simplified maintenance, and an emergency UPS power supply for enhanced reliability, it sets a new industry benchmark.

Additionally, the Air-Cooled Screw Chiller with VSD was introduced as LG’s latest innovation in HVAC technology. Featuring an inverter compressor for superior efficiency, a high-efficiency falling film evaporator, and corrosion-resistant Black Fin technology, this system ensures reliable performance even under extreme conditions. The inclusion of an AI-powered 15-inch touchscreen further enhances user experience by providing intuitive monitoring and operation.

LG continues to play a pivotal role in the region’s HVAC industry by delivering high-capacity, energy-efficient chiller solutions tailored to the Gulf’s extreme climate.
