Khalifa Fund Sponsors Four Ventures at Dubai International Boat Show 2025
The Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development (KFED) has announced its sponsorship of four small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) participating in the 31st edition of the Dubai International Boat Show at Dubai Harbour, which runs until February 23.
The four participating ventures supported by KFED include Sea & Deep Frame Making, renowned for its aquatic-themed necklaces and resin artwork; Al Qeersh Sea Games, which organizes water sports activities such as kayaking, water skiing, jet skiing, and windsurfing; Hide, a manufacturer of waterproof marine bags; and Hamar, a brand specializing in maritime-style accessories.
Mouza Al Nasri, Acting CEO of KFED, stated: "At KFED, we strive to unlock the immense potential of national enterprises participating in the Dubai International Boat Show, a globally recognized event with a history spanning over three decades. Our commitment lies in fostering entrepreneurship, driving the growth of marine activities, and supporting industries linked to the maritime sector. This, in turn, plays a pivotal role in enhancing the UAE’s economic diversity and sustainability while reinforcing the country’s global standing in the tourism sector. The maritime industry is deeply rooted in our nation's cultural heritage, making its development even more significant."
KFED offers a wide range of support services, including financial assistance, training, and consulting, aimed at helping entrepreneurs and business owners scale their ventures. In 2024 alone, the Fund successfully organized entrepreneurship training programs for 5,658 applicants and provided group counseling sessions for 613 participants.
Through these initiatives, KFED continues to empower entrepreneurs, equipping them with the necessary tools and expertise to turn their ambitions into successful business ventures.
