Jeep Brand to flaunt the new wheels at 2019 Geneva International Motor Show
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 26 February 2019 - The Jeep brand will showcase a collection of major new products at the 89th Geneva International Motor Show.
2018 was the best ever year for the Jeep brand in Europe, with record sales in many markets across the continent, including Italy, Germany, Spain, France, Belgium, Poland, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Portugal. Jeep was also the fastest growing brand in the region in 2018 with sales up by 56% compared to 2017.
It was the fifth consecutive year of growth in Europe and the third which saw sales of over 100,000 units. The Jeep Compass was the best-selling model in the range, followed by the Jeep Renegade, which also continues to be one of the top-selling vehicles in its segment. In the third spot was the new-generation Wrangler, which recorded its best ever year in Europe with a sales growth of 86% versus 2017.
On the back of these extraordinary results, the Jeep brand will introduce several new special edition models at the show, in response to the continued and growing demand from Jeep enthusiasts for exclusive new customization options:
The new S range includes special editions of the Jeep Renegade, Compass, Cherokee and Grand Cherokee, all of which make their European debuts at the Geneva International Motor Show.
The new Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk completes the Trailhawk family with all Jeep SUVs sporting the prestigious Trail Rated badge, a symbol that signifies their ability to successfully tackle even the most challenging off-road trails.
The stand will also feature a display of custom models created with Jeep Exclusive Authentic Accessories powered by Mopar to further enhance the now legendary features that first established the success of Jeep SUVs. Mopar is the FCA brand that integrates service, parts and customer-care operations to enhance customer and dealer support worldwide, and the source for genuine parts and accessories for all FCA vehicle brands and which boasts over 80 years of tradition in performance, safety and style.
Further important news about the future of the Jeep brand will be revealed during the press conference that will take place on the Jeep stand in Hall 5 at 11.30 am, Tuesday March 5.
