IVI RMA Global Establishes Middle East as Fifth Operating Region Following Acquisition of ART Fertility Clinics

Madrid — IVI RMA Global, the world’s leading reproductive medicine platform, has officially designated the Middle East as its fifth operating region after completing the acquisition of ART Fertility Clinics, which currently operates in the UAE and is planning expansion into Saudi Arabia. The Middle East now joins the company’s existing regional divisions: North America, Italy, Northern Europe, and Iberia, Latam & Czechia.

Under the continued leadership of Suresh Soni, CEO of ART Fertility Clinics, and Dr. Human M. Fatemi, Medical Director, the move strengthens IVI RMA Global’s capacity to deliver advanced fertility care to tens of thousands of patients across the Middle East.

Recent World Bank data (2023) highlights significantly low fertility rates in the region, with just 1.2 births per woman in the UAE and declining birth rates in Saudi Arabia, signaling a major demographic shift and rising need for assisted reproductive solutions.

Dr. Fatemi noted that awareness of fertility challenges is increasing across the region.
“As part of IVI RMA, we will have the resources to build on our success, accelerate scientific progress, and elevate the standard of fertility care across the Middle East,” he said.

Regional Leader in Fertility Care

ART Fertility Clinics is recognized as the fertility leader within the GCC, supported by a workforce of more than 300 specialised staff, including globally respected clinicians, embryologists, and geneticists. The organisation’s proprietary research and personalized treatment protocols have resulted in industry-leading pregnancy success rates of up to 71% across multiple age groups.

Commenting on the integration, CEO Suresh Soni said:
“The combination of two global leaders enhances our ability to support families across the region and further strengthens the groundbreaking work our research teams are driving.”

ART Fertility is also known for its strong research foundation, with 268 peer-reviewed publications, 35 active research studies, and 11 scientific conferences hosted to date. This scientific expertise supports patient outcomes and aligns closely with IVI RMA’s commitment to clinical excellence and innovation.

Strengthening Global Fertility Leadership

Javier Sánchez Prieto, CEO of IVI RMA Global, emphasized that ART Fertility’s reputation for quality made the acquisition a strategic fit.
“We believe the Middle East will see sustained demand for advanced fertility care. With ART Fertility joining our platform, we are well positioned to lead the region’s evolution in fertility science and practice.”

The establishment of the Middle East region reflects IVI RMA Global’s continued global expansion and its commitment to advancing reproductive medicine worldwide.
