iCAUR V27 Makes Global Debut in UAE with Launch of New Hybrid SUV

iCAUR has made its first global launch in the UAE with the debut of its flagship hybrid SUV, the V27, positioning the country as a strategic international market for the new-energy vehicle brand.

The launch took place at a gala event at Park Hyatt Dubai attended by senior global executives, VIP guests, and media representatives. The brand said it is targeting young and young-at-heart consumers with a product line that blends classic SUV styling with electrified performance and advanced technology.

The V27, a mid-to-large range-extended electric SUV, was presented through an immersive showcase highlighting its design philosophy, engineering process, and core technology features — from exterior styling and interior architecture to drivetrain innovation.

Middle East strategy and positioning

The regional rollout is being led by Chery International Middle East. At the launch, Tim Zhang, General Manager, said the UAE debut reflects the company’s commitment to Middle East customers and premium user experiences in the new-energy vehicle segment.

According to the company, the V27 has already appeared at several major global auto events over the past year and its Dubai premiere marks its official worldwide market introduction.

Classic SUV design with new-energy platform

The V27 adopts a boxy, classic SUV profile stretching over five metres in length, with round headlights and sculpted surfaces intended to balance rugged character and modern tech aesthetics.

Inside, the vehicle features a “Stellar Cockpit” layout, including a dual panoramic sun screen with high UV protection and a floating ceiling design. With a 2,900mm wheelbase, the cabin is configured as a spacious five-seat layout focused on comfort and technology integration.

The model is powered by a Golden REEV (range-extended electric vehicle) system, delivering more than 150km of pure electric range and over 995km combined range. Unlike conventional plug-in hybrids, the system is driven fully by electric motors, with the gasoline engine serving only as a generator when needed.

Testing and ecosystem features

The company said the V27 underwent extensive validation across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, including extreme heat and high-speed road testing. More than 1,000 test vehicles were deployed globally across 50 test programs, accumulating over one million kilometres in durability trials across varied climates and road conditions.

The SUV also supports an upgrade ecosystem with 39 pre-installed expansion ports and a range of optional accessories designed for lifestyle customization.

UAE retail and service network

iCAUR confirmed it has opened its UAE flagship showroom at Oasis Centre on Sheikh Zayed Road, alongside additional showrooms in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, forming the base of a nationwide expansion plan across all seven emirates. Showrooms will also feature AiMOGA robots as part of the brand’s technology ecosystem experience.

The V27 is priced from AED 134,999 in the UAE, with further international market launches planned later this year.
