HIMA Showcases Smart Digital Solutions for the Railway Industry at InnoTrans 2024

At InnoTrans 2024, HIMA Group is unveiling a range of innovative digital solutions designed to enhance safety and efficiency across the railway sector. The company is showcasing its Independent Open HIMA Safety Platform and a comprehensive portfolio of safety technologies tailored to light, urban, and high-speed rail networks. Visitors at the event will explore solutions that support operators and system integrators in achieving the highest safety and security standards while driving long-term cost efficiency and flexibility.

  • Railway Electrification: Showcasing innovative solutions for the control and safety-critical shutdown of the traction power supply, utilizing TrackLink® SCADA to ensure robust energy management.

  • Rail Control System: Intelligent automation solutions for critical infrastructure, such as interlockings and level crossings, designed to enhance safety and operational efficiency using SIL 4-certified systems.

  • Mobile Solutions: TrackLink 3 guarantees safety for onboard applications, with HIMA's TrackLink Overspeed Prevention System offering the first and only SIL 2-certified overspeed prevention system for tramways.

  • Cybersecurity: In collaboration with IT security leader genua, HIMA is creating secure ecosystems to protect railway operations against cyber threats.

  • Safe HMI: Introducing a new SIL 3-certified HMI that eliminates the complexity of hardwired panels, offering a safe display solution with added touch functionality.
