In celebration of World Organ Donation Day, Fujairah Hospital, part of the Emirates Health Services (EHS), organized a significant event in partnership with the National Program for Donation and Transplantation of Human Organs and Tissue, known as "Hayat." The event, attended by a prominent group of doctors, specialists, and experts, aimed to raise awareness about the critical importance of organ donation and its life-saving impact.

H.E. Dr. Essam Al Zarooni, Acting Executive Director of the Clinical Services Sector at EHS, highlighted the UAE's leadership in the field of organ donation, stressing the vital role it plays in saving the lives of patients suffering from organ failure. He emphasized the necessity of collaboration among all relevant entities to ensure the continued success of the "Hayat" Program. Dr. Al Zarooni also reaffirmed EHS's dedication to enhancing partnerships with all stakeholders to improve patient outcomes and elevate the overall health, safety, and quality of life within the community.

Dr. Ahmed Al Khadeim, Director of Fujairah Hospital, reiterated the hospital's commitment to raising public awareness about organ donation's significance in saving lives. He noted that the event provided a valuable platform for education, networking, and collaboration, featuring lectures and discussions that explored various facets of organ donation, including its humanitarian aspects.
