Strategic Agreement to Drive Innovation in Nuclear and Sustainable Energy Sectors
Fabtech Engineering, a leading steel fabrication specialist based in Dubai Industrial City, has signed a strategic agreement with French industrial leader Groupe M to accelerate innovation and sustainable development in the UAE’s nuclear and renewable energy sectors.
The agreement was signed in the presence of Nicolas Niemtchinow, Ambassador of France to the UAE, and key representatives from Dubai Industrial City, Business France, the French Nuclear Strategic Committee, and the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the UAE.
Strengthening Localized Manufacturing and Sustainability Goals
Under this collaboration, Fabtech and Groupe M will jointly develop engineering, manufacturing, and on-site solutions to support the UAE’s nuclear and sustainable energy industries. The partnership aligns with key national initiatives, including:
- UAE Energy Strategy 2050
- Operation 300bn
- Make it in the Emirates
- Dubai Economic Agenda ‘D33’
Fabtech will leverage its Dubai-based operations to expand its nuclear sector capabilities, offering "Made in UAE" products to both local and international markets. The agreement also includes plans to upgrade Fabtech’s existing 2.1 million sq. ft. facility at Dubai Industrial City to enhance its sustainability and innovation capabilities.
