Investopia and SkyKapital Sign MoU to Expand Global Editions Across Europe and Africa
H.E. Bin Touq: Investopia Global Editions to Expand to 16 New Cities in 2025
Investopia has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SkyKapital, a leading financial services firm, to enhance collaboration in organizing Investopia Global editions across European and African markets in 2025. The agreement aims to foster dialogues on emerging investment and financing trends, particularly in Europe’s new economy sectors, while exploring growth opportunities in emerging markets.
The MoU was formalized during the fourth edition of Investopia 2025 in Abu Dhabi under the theme Harnessing MegaForces. The signing ceremony was attended by H.E. Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Minister of Economy and Chairman of Investopia, and H.E. Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, Nigeria’s Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment. The agreement was officially signed by H.E. Badreya Al Midour, Assistant Undersecretary for Support Services at the UAE Ministry of Economy, and Karim Noujaim, Managing Partner at SkyKapital.
Expanding Investopia's Reach in Europe and Africa
H.E. Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri emphasized that the partnership with SkyKapital aligns with Investopia’s strategic vision of expanding its influence in key European and African business hubs. He stated, “Through Investopia Global editions, we provide a platform that connects business leaders, investors, and innovators to discuss critical topics shaping today’s global investment landscape and explore opportunities within new economy sectors.”
Investopia's Global Expansion Plans
Investopia aims to expand its global editions to 16 new cities in 2025, including Milan, Berlin, London, New York, and Paris. This expansion will strengthen Investopia’s role as a leading investment and business platform while reinforcing the UAE’s position as a key player in the global economy, in line with the We the UAE 2031 vision.
The collaboration with SkyKapital will specifically support Investopia’s presence in Paris, Cyprus, and Budapest, with SkyKapital providing logistical and technical support to ensure successful execution in accordance with global best practices.
Strengthening Global Investment Ties
The MoU underlines Investopia’s commitment to fostering global investment partnerships by connecting government leaders, investors, entrepreneurs, and economic experts. The discussions at Investopia Global editions will focus on investment trends in sectors such as fintech, renewable energy, food technology, logistics, and innovative banking solutions.
The fourth edition of Investopia 2025 attracted over 3,000 participants and 132 speakers, offering a platform for high-level discussions on modern financing trends and emerging market opportunities. Participants explored strategies to mitigate economic risks and create resilient economies that can adapt to future challenges.
