ENOC Global Marine expands worldwide reach with new Dubai Trading Agency agreement

ENOC Global Marine, a specialist business department of Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC), is set to expand its global footprint through a shipping agreement with Dubai Trading Agency (DTA).

The collaboration allows DTA to be a key distributor of ENOC's marine lubes portfolio in both local and global markets. Along with having rights to dispersing ENOC products to the international clients within the United Arab Emirates, the arrangement will make it possible for the trading of as much as 600,000 litres per year.

" With our substantial marine lubricants portfolio and deep know-how in technical support proficiencies in the maritime sector, ENOC Global Marine is a UAE success story that has reached over 25 markets to date," said Burhan Al Hashemi, Managing Director, ENOC Marketing. "Our recent agreement with the DTA is an added milestone to our continuing growth story, and we anticipate developing new bridges with clients in Europe and the Far East."

ENOC Global Marine (EGM) is a department that becomes part of ENOC Lubricants. Given that the department's beginning in 2015, EGM developed a footprint in Africa, across crucial ports in Egypt, Nigeria, Angola, Ghana, Kenya, Morocco and Mauritania. The division also has abilities to mix products locally in target audience, which in turn maximises supply chain efficiencies and ensures item availability near consumers.

We at DTA are honoured to be working closely with ENOC and look forward to this cooperation, said Ali Lakhani, Managing Director, DTA. We hope that this partnership results in beneficial growth for both parties. This agreement with ENOC comes at a time when oil prices are stabilising. With reports supporting a gradual rise in the near future, the medium term looks bright for the shipping and oil industry alike.

ENOC Global Marine is headquartered in Dubai, UAE. The company has an extensive portfolio of application-based lubricants, each designed to provide specific solutions geared towards achieving optimal performance for the shipping industry, with a portfolio that spans more than 80 ports in 16 countries.
