Cloud Box Technologies has signed a series of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with multiple universities across the UAE to establish AI Lab, an artificial intelligence-focused Centre of Excellence (CoE) designed to accelerate AI innovation, applied research, and talent development.

The initiative aims to strengthen AI adoption across the UAE by creating a collaborative ecosystem that combines academic learning, industry expertise, and practical innovation. Through the partnership, students, faculty members, and technology professionals will work together to develop AI-driven solutions for real-world business challenges.

The AI Lab will focus on several innovation areas, including Generative AI, Data Science, Business Analytics, Intelligent Automation, and AI-powered business applications. The Centre of Excellence is intended to provide hands-on learning opportunities while supporting applied research and solution development aligned with industry needs.

Ranjith Kaippada said the initiative reflects the company's commitment to building a future-ready AI talent ecosystem, enabling students to gain practical experience through real-world projects while developing skills that meet evolving industry demands.

He noted that as AI adoption continues to accelerate across the region, initiatives such as AI Lab will play an important role in preparing the next generation of AI professionals and supporting the UAE’s ambition to strengthen its position as a global leader in artificial intelligence.

The programme is designed to address the growing demand for industry-ready AI talent by bridging the gap between academic education and workplace requirements. Participants will gain experience in emerging technologies that help organisations improve operational efficiency, decision-making, automation, and business competitiveness.

The initiative also aligns with the UAE’s broader digital transformation and AI leadership strategies, encouraging closer collaboration between higher education institutions and industry while providing students with opportunities to participate in applied research, technology showcases, innovation projects, and solution co-creation.

Drawing on its experience in developing Centres of Excellence focused on innovation and applied research, Cloud Box Technologies aims to establish a structured pipeline of AI professionals capable of supporting the country's expanding technology sector.
