Empower Signs Agreement to Provide District Cooling Services to Palm Gateway in Palm Jumeirah
Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation PJSC (Empower), the world’s largest provider of district cooling services, has signed an agreement to supply environmentally friendly cooling solutions to the Palm Gateway project in Palm Jumeirah, Dubai. The agreement will see Empower deliver a total cooling capacity of 9,470 refrigeration tons (RT), with services expected to commence in the second quarter of 2026.
The collaboration aligns with Dubai’s broader vision of adopting sustainable and energy-efficient solutions to support the city’s development and environmental goals.
Palm Gateway: A Landmark of Luxury and Sustainability
Palm Gateway is a high-end residential development featuring three interconnected towers with a distinctive architectural design. The project includes a diverse array of amenities such as retail outlets, fine-dining restaurants, shopping facilities, healthcare centers, and fitness establishments. Residents will benefit from panoramic glass windows, offering breathtaking views of Palm Jumeirah and Dubai’s iconic skyline.

He emphasized the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality district cooling solutions, which consume up to 50% less energy than conventional cooling systems.
