Emirati Human Resources Development Council Partners with AUD to Empower 5,000 Emirati Digital Talents
Strategic Initiative to Equip Emirati Students for the Global Digital Economy
The Emirati Human Resources Development Council in Dubai has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the American University in Dubai (AUD) to train 5,000 Emirati students in digital skills over the next five years. The initiative, launched by the Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications Office, aims to enhance Emirati talent readiness for leading global technology firms and drive innovation in future technologies.
Strengthening National Digital Capabilities
The initiative aligns with the directives of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Higher Committee for Future Technology and Digital Economy. It reinforces the UAE’s commitment to building a knowledge-based digital economy by fostering technological innovation and academic excellence.
Leaders’ Vision for the Future
H.E. Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, emphasized:
