Elm Partners with Kidana Development Company to Drive Digitalisation in Holy Sites

Elm, a leader in digital solutions, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kidana Development Company, a key developer of the Holy Sites and a subsidiary of the Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites. The agreement aims to strengthen the collaboration between the two entities in the development and operation of digital platforms, consulting services, and the promotion of digitalisation at the Holy Sites. It also includes provisions for inspection and field supervision services to maintain the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Collaboration for Digital Transformation

The MoU was signed by Mr. Mohammad Abdulaziz Alomair, CEO of Elm, and Eng. Majed Ahmed Al-Shangiti, Executive Vice President of Human Capital & Shared Services at Kidana Development Company. The signing ceremony was attended by key officials from both organizations.

The partnership will leverage Elm's advanced electronic solutions, technological systems, and consulting services to drive the digital transformation of the Holy Sites. The collaboration also aims to enhance the digital infrastructure, improve the services offered to Umrah pilgrims, and ensure robust security and safety standards for the millions who visit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia each year to perform Hajj and Umrah.

Enhancing Services for Pilgrims

Majid bin Saad Al-Arifi, official spokesperson and CEO VP of the Marketing Sector at Elm, emphasized the strategic importance of this collaboration, saying:
“We are honoured to collaborate with Kidana in enhancing the services offered to Umrah pilgrims, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. This partnership will enable us to develop innovative electronic platforms, offer specialised consultancy services, and strengthen the digital infrastructure of the Holy Sites. Together, we will ensure that operations, inspection, and field control services meet the highest standards of safety and security for the pilgrims.”
