EDGE Unveils Cutting-Edge Defence and Tech Innovations at IDEX 2025
EDGE, a global leader in advanced technology and defence solutions, has introduced 46 new systems at IDEX 2025 and NAVDEX 2025, reinforcing its commitment to delivering cutting-edge, all-domain capabilities across air, land, sea, cyber, and space. This latest launch expands EDGE’s diverse portfolio to 218 unique products, positioning the company as a key player in strengthening national defence and enhancing global partnerships.

Key Innovations at IDEX 2025
- Air Domain: The ANAVIA HT-750, a high-tech unmanned heavy-lift aircraft with ISR and cargo capabilities, and the P145i aeronautical piston engine from EDGE’s newly launched POWERTECH.
- Land Domain: The HAVOC Robotic Combat Vehicle (RCV), developed by MILREM ROBOTICS, and three new NIMR AJBAN MK2 armoured vehicle variants. In small arms, the CARACAL SNIPER RIFLE MULTI-CALIBRE (CSRM) makes its debut.
- Naval Domain: The FA-400 offshore patrol vessel, a 45-metre, fully UAE-manufactured vessel designed for high-performance maritime operations.
- Secure Communications & AI-Powered Systems: The KATIM X3M, a rugged and modular battlefield communication device, and SHADOW 3, a portable counter-UAS solution, enhance EDGE’s electronic warfare capabilities.
- Space & AI Integration: TACTICA, an AI-powered C4I system developed by EDGE’s space tech arm FADA, revolutionizes space intelligence with real-time decision-making support.
- Advanced Radar & Electro-Optics: Compact gimbals, MIRSAD electro-optical cameras, and TAWAQ next-gen radars, recently tested in the UAE, set new standards for precision surveillance and defence operations.
