Ducab demonstrates Sustainable Initiatives at WETEX 2016
Ducab, the Middle East's leading manufacturer of high quality cables and cabling products, is a Strategic Sponsor of the Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) 2016. Ducab will participate at the exhibit and conference, which will be held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from the 4th to the 6th of October, to showcase its sustainability efforts and state of art industry-specific cabling.
In positioning to the UAE vision 2021 of ensuring sustainable advancement while preserving the environment and under the umbrella of the 'Green Week', Ducab will demonstrate its implementation and assistance of green and sustainable development in the production of specialized cable products and accessories which satisfy the highest market requirements. Visitors to WETEX 2016 will be able to witness this focus across Ducab's processes of raw-materials, production, packaging, product durability and end-of-life treatment.

The cable manufacturer's involvement follows the recent announcement of its nuclear power-qualified cable variety, NuBICC being chosen by the Korean Hydro-Nuclear Power Co. (KHNP) for the Shin Hanul 1 & 2 Nuclear power plant under building currently. Other projects in the sector consist of Masdar's Shams 1 in Abu Dhabi, DEWA's 13MW solar plant in Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park in Dubai (in partnership with DEWA), and Barakah Nuclear Power plant (BNPP) in Abu Dhabi.
