The Mohammed bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH), located within Dubai South and dedicated to the growth of the aviation industry, has reported a 15% increase in business aviation movements in the first quarter of 2025. A total of 5,275 movements were recorded at Al Maktoum International Airport, reinforcing its position as the leading regional hub for international business aviation.

The Q1 figures reflect the continuing expansion of the UAE’s aviation infrastructure and the increasing demand for private and business aviation services in Dubai.

Commenting on the milestone, HE Khalifa Al Zaffin, Executive Chairman of Dubai Aviation City Corporation and Dubai South, said:
"Demand for business aviation has been steadily rising year after year, driven by Dubai’s compelling value proposition in both the business and tourism sectors. At MBRAH, we are committed to further contributing to this growth through the unique ecosystem we offer for private jet owners and high-net-worth individuals flying via our state-of-the-art VIP Terminal. We will continue to uphold our mandate of positioning Dubai as a global capital of aviation, in alignment with the government’s vision."

MBRAH provides high-level connectivity and infrastructure for global aerospace players, including private jet operators, airlines, and aviation service companies. It operates within a free-zone environment that also includes maintenance centers, training facilities, and educational campuses, making it a key component in Dubai’s broader aviation and aerospace ecosystem.

The latest figures highlight MBRAH’s role in supporting Dubai’s ambition to become a global aviation hub, backed by advanced infrastructure, investor-friendly policies, and a rising influx of tourism and business travel.
