Dubai Ruler Welcomes Global Content Creators at 1Billion Followers Summit
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, extended a warm welcome to over 15,000 content creators from around the world at the opening of the 1Billion Followers Summit.
The event, which unites influencers with a combined global following of 2.3 billion, aims to shape the future of the digital content creator economy.
In a post on the social media platform X, Sheikh Mohammed expressed his enthusiasm for the summit and the creators it brings together:
"We welcome those with ideas and creativity. We welcome content creators who create a better life through better content... and work with us to build a more beautiful future."
The Dubai Ruler also pledged to support the growth of the digital content industry by fostering a sustainable economic sector for creators:
"We promise all content creators to build a sustainable economic sector for the content industry that will bring them and their communities goodness and prosperity."
