Dubai rolls out new and revised parking tariffs across 17 key areas in 2025

Dubai has introduced a comprehensive update to its public parking tariffs across 17 major areas, marking one of the most extensive overhauls of the emirate’s parking system to date. The revisions, implemented by Parkin, Dubai’s largest paid public parking operator, are designed to enhance parking efficiency, ease congestion, and support better traffic management in high-demand zones.

Throughout 2025, Parkin executed a phased rollout of new and revised parking tariffs, including adjustments to hourly rates, subscription packages, and duration limits. The changes aim to balance accessibility with demand while aligning with Dubai’s broader mobility and sustainability goals.

According to Parkin, the tariff updates were developed to “improve the efficiency of public parking use while catering to the diverse needs of residents, workers, and visitors across the city.”

Tariff details and subscription options

Under the new structure, parking fees now range from Dh2 for 30 minutes or one hour in certain areas to a maximum of Dh36 for 24-hour parking in others. Monthly subscription packages start from Dh300, while annual subscriptions can reach up to Dh4,040, depending on zone demand and category.

Free parking remains available in several zones on Sundays and official public holidays, as well as designated free periods for worshippers at parking spaces adjacent to mosques.

Key areas and new parking categories

Among the locations affected is Al Sufouh 2 (Zone F), where new rates were set at Dh2 for 30 minutes, Dh4 per hour, and Dh32 for eight-hour or full-day stays.

The RTA and Parkin also introduced two new parking categories — W and WP — in areas such as Al Qusais 1, Al Karama, Dubai Maritime City, and Al Kifaf.

  • W zones charge Dh4 per hour throughout the day.

  • WP zones apply a variable tariff, with Dh4 per hour during off-peak periods and Dh6 per hour during peak times.

In Mirdif, paid parking was extended to zones 251C and 251D, active from Monday to Saturday (8am–10pm), while remaining free on Sundays and public holidays. Tariffs there are Dh2 per hour during off-peak and Dh4 per hour during peak hours. A similar system has been implemented in Al Jaddaf, covering both surface and side parking areas.

Another notable update includes 24-hour paid parking at Gate Avenue–Al Khail (365N), where motorists will be charged Dh4 per hour or Dh30 for a full day.

New mosque-adjacent and special zones

New mosque-adjacent zones, labeled MP and M, have also been introduced. These offer reduced rates outside peak hours and free parking during prayer times, reinforcing Dubai’s focus on accessibility for worshippers.

Broader implementation across key developments

The revised tariff system now extends to major residential, commercial, and educational districts, including Dubai Outsource City, Dubai Studio City, Dubai International Academic City, Dubai Sports City, Dubai Science Park, Dubai Production City, and Jumeirah Village Triangle.

Daily maximum charges in these areas range between Dh20 and Dh36, with tailored subscription options for frequent users, supporting a more flexible and efficient parking ecosystem citywide.

The revised framework reflects Dubai’s commitment to smart urban mobility and sustainable traffic management, ensuring that parking availability aligns with the emirate’s continued growth and evolving transport demands.
