Dubai Land Department confirms return of on-site sales at Cityscape Global 2018
The Dubai Land Department has verified that real estate developers participating at Cityscape Global 2018, the biggest real estate event in the region, will be enabled to sell their UAE-based jobs on the exhibit floor following the unprecedented success of the 2017 edition.
The choice was made after AED870 million worth of on-site deals was recorded throughout the 3 days of Cityscape Global in 2015, where sales were permitted for the very first time in the event's history.
In a post-show report compiled by Informa, organisers of Cityscape Global, some 67 percent of the 37,821 visitors that attended the event expressed a passion in purchasing or working with an organisation they satisfied at the event throughout the following YEAR.

Several exhibitors reported a successful 2017 at Cityscape Global: Azizi Developments marketed out their stage one systems for the AED12 billion waterside project, Azizi Riviera; a confidential customer of one Omniyat's One Palm systems climaxed for the most costly penthouse, with a final rate of AED102 million; and Aldar's 'Water's Edge' project generated $109m (AED400m) in sales of the first phase.
The show witnessed a host of new project launches and masterplan unveilings from major designers such as Nakheel's AED4 billion worth of advancements; Union Properties' AED8 billion masterplan for MotorCity; and Deyaar's AED1 billion South Bay in Business Bay, and the 2018 occasion is expected to be home to a series of significant new launches, news and project updates.
Regional developers are currently getting ready for their involvement in the UAE capital's leading residential or commercial property event Cityscape Abu Dhabi, occurring from 17-19 April 2018 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibit Facility (ADNEC). On-site purchases will be permitted in Abu Dhabi for the fourth consecutive edition.
