Dubai International Chamber Drives Global Expansion, Attracts 51 Multinational Companies in 2024

Dubai International Chamber, operating under the umbrella of Dubai Chambers, has achieved significant milestones in foreign direct investment (FDI) attraction and global business expansion during 2024. The chamber supported 114 local companies in entering new international markets and successfully attracted 51 multinational corporations (MNCs) to Dubai, marking a 55% growth compared to 2023.

Key Achievements in 2024:

  • 207 companies attracted to Dubai, reflecting a 56% growth from 2023.
  • 51 multinational companies established operations in Dubai, up 55% from 2023.
  • 156 SMEs entered Dubai’s business landscape, marking a 56% rise from the previous year.
  • Two new international offices opened in Kazakhstan and Colombia, expanding the chamber’s global network to 33 offices worldwide.
  • 182 visiting delegations hosted, with 500 participants, fostering international collaboration.
  • Participation in 127 global events across 78 cities in 50 countries, strengthening global trade ties.
  • 2,205 bilateral business meetings organized through the ‘New Horizons’ initiative, an 88% increase from 2023.

Expanding Dubai’s Global Business Footprint

H.E. Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Chairman of Dubai International Chamber, emphasized:

“The chamber’s international offices play a vital role in showcasing Dubai’s investment opportunities, attracting global businesses, and supporting local companies in expanding into key markets. Our efforts in 2024 have further strengthened Dubai’s position as a leading global trade and investment hub.”

The chamber’s ‘New Horizons’ initiative facilitated trade missions to Indonesia, Vietnam, Senegal, Morocco, Serbia, Türkiye, Uganda, and Tanzania, creating new business opportunities for Dubai-based companies.

International Business Forums & High-Level Engagements

In its continued efforts to attract FDI, Dubai International Chamber launched international editions of the Dubai Business Forum, held in Beijing and London, drawing 1,150 participants. Additionally, the chamber hosted:

  • UAE-China Business Forum in Dubai, attended by H.E. Li Qiang, Premier of China.
  • Dubai–Chile Business Forum, with H.E. Gabriel Boric Font, President of Chile.
  • Vietnam–UAE Business Forum, attended by H.E. Phạm Minh Chính, Prime Minister of Vietnam.

With an expanded global presence and strategic initiatives, Dubai International Chamber continues to drive economic diversification, international trade growth, and investment attraction, reinforcing Dubai’s status as a world-leading business destination.
