Dubai Humanitarian Dispatches WHO Medical Aid to Gaza Under Mohammed bin Rashid’s Directives
Under the directives of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Humanitarian has facilitated the dispatch of a critical medical aid shipment to Gaza, aimed at supporting urgent healthcare needs amid ongoing challenges.
The shipment, organised through the Global Humanitarian Impact Fund (GHIF), includes 22.3 metric tonnes of essential medical supplies provided by the World Health Organization. The aid is being transported via an overland convoy of three trucks and is expected to benefit approximately 110,000 people.
Supporting Healthcare Amid Crisis
The initiative underscores Dubai’s continued commitment to global humanitarian efforts, particularly in crisis-affected regions. The supplies are intended to address critical shortages in healthcare resources and provide life-saving support to vulnerable communities.
Giuseppe Saba, CEO and Board Member of Dubai Humanitarian, highlighted the organisation’s ongoing efforts to maintain aid delivery despite global supply chain pressures. He emphasised the importance of collaboration with international partners to ensure timely and efficient distribution of assistance.
Sustaining Global Humanitarian Operations
Dubai Humanitarian confirmed that it remains fully operational, leveraging its logistics capabilities and partnerships to sustain humanitarian supply chains across complex environments.
Since the beginning of 2026, humanitarian organisations based at Dubai Humanitarian have delivered aid to more than 40 countries. These efforts have been supported through coordination with government entities, international organisations, and commercial partners.
By mobilising multimodal logistics solutions, Dubai Humanitarian continues to play a key role in ensuring the delivery of essential aid to populations in need worldwide.
