Dubai Digital Launches Comprehensive Digital Skills and AI Survey for Public and Private Sectors
Dubai Digital has launched the Digital Skills Survey, targeting both public and private sector organizations to understand their current and future digital talent needs. The survey aims to assess gaps in digital skills, including the growing demand for artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities, and to gather insights on recruitment and development strategies essential for Dubai's digital transformation.
H.E. Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, Director General of Dubai Digital, emphasized the survey’s role in enhancing Dubai’s labor market and digital economy. “I call on our partners in public and private sector institutions to participate actively, as this survey holds significant potential to boost the emirate's ability to attract and recruit digital talents,” he said.
The survey, which builds on the findings of Dubai Digital’s Digital Skills Study conducted two years ago, aims to align the current skill set with the rapid technological advancements affecting Dubai’s digital transformation. In addition, the 2024 survey includes a dedicated section on AI, examining both the demand and strategies for AI talent development.
Aligned with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, the survey results will be used to support Dubai’s ambition to grow its digital economy and to ensure that the city remains a leading global hub for technology and innovation.
