The collaboration aims to conduct a pilot study exploring the role of synthetic data in improving the accuracy and quality of labor force survey outputs.

This initiative aligns with Digital Dubai’s strategic vision, which focuses on integrating advanced AI-driven technologies to enhance statistical analysis and support economic and social policy decisions. By leveraging synthetic data, Dubai aims to improve the accuracy of AI models, enhance privacy protection, and create a secure environment for AI system training, without exposing sensitive real-world data to security risks.

His Excellency Younus Al Nasser, CEO of the Dubai Data and Statistics Corporation, emphasized the importance of this collaboration, stating:

"Data is the backbone of decision-making and a key driver of development in this digital transformation era. However, balancing data-driven innovation with governance—while respecting social, cultural, and legal considerations, including privacy—is a significant challenge.
