Dubai Culture Leadership Embraces Design Thinking for Innovation
Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) recently hosted an intensive Design Thinking workshop in collaboration with the Design Thinking Academy in Amsterdam. This initiative aimed to equip Dubai Culture’s leadership with innovative problem-solving skills, enabling them to drive strategic transformation in Dubai’s cultural and creative industries.
Fostering Leadership and Innovation in Culture
The workshop, held at Swissôtel Al Murooj Dubai, was part of the 10th edition of UAE Innovates 2025, themed ‘The Power of 10 – Where Does Your Strength Lie?’. It gathered senior leaders and employees to encourage out-of-the-box thinking, helping them develop new solutions to support Dubai’s local talent, artists, and creative professionals.
Participants engaged in interactive sessions designed to improve leadership capabilities, creative problem-solving, and strategic planning. The training emphasized human-centered design principles, which focus on understanding the needs of the people Dubai Culture serves, ensuring that new projects and services directly benefit the creative community.
