Dubai to be United in Celebration for Eid Al Adha from September 25 to October 11, 2014

The Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), has announced the calendar of events for the seventh edition of Eid in Dubai Eid Al Adha, which is set to kick off on 25 September and will run until 11 October.

During the 17-day celebrations, visitors and residents will have the opportunity to enjoy a host of festival-themed entertainment, including events and activities designed to cater to families and individuals of all nationalities encouraging visitors from around the region and beyond to make the most of the unique experiences that Dubai has to offer during these much-awaited Eid holidays.

Complemented by the city-wide decorations that further enhance the lively festive atmosphere of the city, the Eid in Dubai Eid Al Adha celebrations are aimed at strengthening Dubais position as the choicest family-favorite destination during the Eid holidays.

Shoppers can look forward to a world-class shopping experience in Dubai, with the leading malls and shopping centers offering extended hours providing visitors ample time to enjoy the emirates bustling retail scene topped off by exciting promotions and family-oriented in-mall entertainment throughout the 17 days of festivities.

H. E. She elaborated that events and activities organized during Eid Al Adha serve as a cultural backdrop of Dubai showcasing the UAEs rich heritage and traditions, the generosity of its people and the welcoming hospitality that attracts people from far and wide to create unforgettable and joyful memories of a wonderful Eid experience in the city.
