DOMOTEX Middle East 2025 Opens in Dubai, Showcasing Global Innovation and Sustainable Flooring Solutions

DOMOTEX Middle East 2025 officially opened its doors at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), reinforcing Dubai’s role as a key global hub for design, innovation, and international trade. Inaugurated by His Excellency Eng. Marwan Ahmed bin Ghalita, Director General of Dubai Land Department (DLD), the three-day exhibition has drawn 100 top-tier exhibitors from around the world, spotlighting the latest trends in flooring technology, heritage artistry, and sustainability.

As the region's premier flooring trade platform, the event convenes global manufacturers, designers, architects, and industry decision-makers to explore cutting-edge solutions and forge new partnerships. A wide array of sustainable materials and handmade carpet collections are on display, celebrating both innovation and cultural heritage.

During his opening remarks, H.E. Eng. Marwan bin Ghalita emphasized Dubai’s strategic importance in enabling economic growth through international exhibitions. “Dubai continues to attract leading global events that catalyze trade and development. DOMOTEX Middle East aligns with our long-term vision of economic diversification and global engagement,” he stated.

Now in its second year since relaunching in the region, DOMOTEX Middle East 2025 strengthens its position as a vital platform for stakeholders in real estate, hospitality, and construction to collaborate and innovate. The event also highlights Dubai’s unique position as a bridge between global markets, fostering cross-border cooperation in design and architecture.

Among the exhibitors making a significant impact this year are Heritage Carpets, Abu Dhabi National Carpet Factory, Standard Carpet, Tuftco, Nirmal International, Solomon Carpet, and others. These companies are unveiling collections that combine traditional craftsmanship with modern aesthetics, aligning with growing consumer demand for sustainable and culturally enriched design.

Sonia Wedell-Castellano, Global Director of DOMOTEX at Deutsche Messe AG, remarked, “This exhibition serves as a driver of collaboration, commercial exchange, and design leadership. The strong international presence this year reflects the Middle East’s increasing influence on the global flooring sector.”

Heritage Carpets Managing Director Amir Ghanbarinia echoed the event’s importance, stating: “DOMOTEX Middle East provides a vital platform to engage with global buyers who value craftsmanship and sustainability. Our museum-grade Persian carpets and our commitment to a zero-carbon footprint resonate strongly with today’s conscious consumer.”

Beyond the exhibits, DOMOTEX Middle East 2025 offers valuable networking and thought leadership opportunities. Architects, interior designers, contractors, and government representatives are attending to identify trends, evaluate partnerships, and explore future business opportunities.

The event, which runs until 24 April, affirms Dubai’s growing role as a center of creativity, innovation, and sustainable industrial development.
