Deloitte, AWS to Channel $1 Billion in Cloud and AI Services Across the Middle East by 2030
Deloitte Middle East and Amazon Web Services (AWS) have deepened their global alliance with a new regional initiative aimed at delivering US$1 billion worth of cloud, data- and AI-driven services across the Middle East by 2030.
Under the agreement—announced after senior leadership from both companies met at Deloitte’s regional headquarters in Dubai—each partner will invest in expanding local talent pools, building dedicated Centers of Excellence and accelerating large-scale digital transformation projects for enterprises and public-sector organisations.
Focus on cloud scale-up and AI-first strategies
The programme is designed to help businesses modernise legacy systems, improve agility and unlock new revenue streams through secure, cloud-native architectures and generative-AI solutions. Key sectors in scope include banking and financial services, energy, healthcare and government.
Rashid Bashir, Technology & Transformation Leader at Deloitte Middle East, said the move “marks a major step forward in equipping regional organisations with the skills, tools and resilient platforms they need to compete globally.”
AWS Managing Director for Europe, Middle East & Africa, Tanuja Randery, added that the initiative will enable customers “to accelerate the pace of their bold transformation projects, from inception to value realisation.”
Building regional capacity
Deloitte will significantly expand its cadre of AWS-certified practitioners in the Middle East, while both companies will co-develop industry-specific playbooks covering cloud strategy, application modernisation, AI integration, cybersecurity and governance.
The expanded collaboration mirrors successful joint programmes in Europe and Africa, where hundreds of organisations have already migrated mission-critical workloads to AWS with Deloitte’s support. With Middle Eastern demand for trusted digital-transformation partners continuing to rise, the alliance is expected to catalyse innovation, job creation and economic diversification throughout the region.
