Throughout EXPO 2015 in Italy, Milan, the Grand Champion of the EXPO Innovation Challenge, 'INFOOSO,' developed a solution that focused on wise and ingenious warehouse designs. As a continuation of their journey, 'INFOOSO' was welcomed to Dubai by DAFZA to take part in the UAE's event of Innovation Week-- providing their winning solution at The D-Lab (DAFZA Lab), an accelerated Innovation for Global Growth program. Advancement Week remains in line with H.H. President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan's declaration of 2015 as the 'Year of Innovation' and is a pioneering effort released by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.

Amna Lootah, Assistant Director General-- Finance and Commercial, DAFZA, shared that DAFZA's involvement in the EXPO Innovation Challenge supplied an important blueprint for Dubai as it prepares to host the next World Expo and invite people from all over the world in lending their expertise and abilities to resolve the world's most important problems throughout the next edition of the Innovation Challenge.

DAFZA's D-Lab Accelerated Innovation for Global Growth program was backed and supported by Microsoft and IBM, and targeted at expanding the strategic, operational and ingenious storage capacity of Dubai's SME's to make sure quick growth and scale of their commercial potential in the international marketplace. The programme included ability sessions that concentrated on enhancing efficiency, advance leadership abilities, boost imagination and develop advancement and growth within the SMEs.

Throughout the workshop, individuals of the programme were able to explore their existing abilities, while the workouts assisted in enhancing their abilities to establish brand-new and ingenious options. In addition, individuals will now have the skills and tools had to identify new options to emerging issues in the rapidly changing business market environment and to provide more value to their company and clients. Attendees received a joint certificate from DAFZA, IBM and Microsoft, which illustrates their dedication to continuing professional advancement.
