Azizi Developments has awarded a major AED 1.1 billion structural steel construction contract for its landmark Burj Azizi project to Eversendai Corporation Berhad, marking a significant milestone in the tower’s development.

The agreement was formally signed between Mirwais Azizi and A.K. Nathan, reinforcing collaboration between the two companies on what is set to become one of Dubai’s most ambitious architectural projects.

Burj Azizi is planned as a mixed-use skyscraper and is envisioned to become the world’s second tallest tower, positioning it as a major addition to Dubai’s iconic skyline and a key contributor to the emirate’s ongoing real estate and infrastructure expansion.

Commenting on the partnership, Mirwais Azizi highlighted Eversendai’s global expertise in delivering complex, large-scale steel structures, expressing confidence in the company’s ability to execute the project to the highest standards of quality and safety.

A.K. Nathan also welcomed the collaboration, noting that Eversendai’s extensive experience in handling technically demanding projects would support the successful delivery of the tower. He reaffirmed the company’s commitment to leveraging its engineering capabilities to meet the project’s requirements.

Eversendai Corporation Berhad is widely recognised for its specialisation in structural steel turnkey contracting, power plant construction, and high-rise developments, with operations spanning the Middle East, Asia, and India.
