Arada Announces Eid Al Fitr Celebrations Across Sharjah Communities

Arada has unveiled an extensive programme of Eid Al Fitr celebrations across its flagship communities in Sharjah—Aljada, Masaar, and Nasma Residences—promising family-friendly festivities that blend cultural heritage with modern entertainment.

The celebrations, themed as a contemporary Arabic festival, will take place over two evenings during Eid Al Fitr, on March 20 and 21, from 6pm to 11pm across all three locations. The initiative aims to bring residents and visitors together through immersive experiences suitable for all age groups.

Visitors can expect a wide range of activities, including face painting, balloon bending, hair braiding, bubble shows, children’s arts and crafts, and traditional live cooking. Roaming parades with giant mascots and cultural performances such as Tanoura dances, alongside DJ sets, will create a festive atmosphere throughout the communities.

At Aljada, celebrations will feature live performances at the skate park, including roller skating shows, a performance by Cassette Band on the first evening, and a live show by singer-songwriter Zeina Aftimos on the second. The destination will also host a dedicated Eid Market from March 19 to 22, offering curated food, beverage, and retail experiences in an open-air setting.

Additionally, all three communities will feature the Manbat Market, showcasing UAE-based food brands, fresh produce, and goods from local farmers. The market will run from March 19 to 22 at Aljada and on March 20 and 21 at Masaar and Nasma Residences.

Masaar will enhance the celebrations with an inflatable play area, offering younger visitors an engaging outdoor experience within its nature-inspired environment. Meanwhile, festivities at Nasma Residences will take place at Nasma Central, where guests can enjoy entertainment alongside retail and dining options.

For visitors seeking a staycation during the holiday, Aljada’s Nest Hotel is offering special Eid packages starting from AED235 per night. The package includes access to experiences such as trampolining at Bounce, complimentary e-bikes and e-scooters, a tree-planting activity at Shajar Nursery, and dining discounts at Kashtat Amina.

Commenting on the initiative, Amit Arora, Chief Operating Officer – Hospitality and Entertainment at Arada, highlighted the importance of creating spaces where families can come together during Eid. He noted that the celebrations build on a successful Ramadan season that saw vibrant community engagement, including strong visitor turnout at East Boulevard and the return of Alsimrah, Sharjah’s largest Ramadan tent.

The Eid programme reflects Arada’s broader vision of fostering community-centric destinations that combine lifestyle, entertainment, and cultural experiences, further enhancing Sharjah’s reputation as a family-friendly hub.
