Alibaba Cloud has officially launched its latest large language model (LLM), Qwen 2.5 Max, for global developers and enterprises. The advanced AI model has achieved outstanding results on Chatbot Arena, a renowned platform for evaluating the world’s leading AI models and chatbots. Ranking seventh overall, Qwen 2.5 Max has proven its competitive edge, excelling in mathematics, coding, and complex prompt processing—securing first place in math and coding, and second place in handling hard prompts.

It has been further refined using Supervised Fine-Tuning (SFT) and Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF), resulting in industry-leading benchmarks in knowledge, coding, general problem-solving, and human alignment. The model has achieved top scores in major AI performance evaluations, including:
