Al-Futtaim and Siemens Forge Strategic Partnership to Propel Digital Transformation and Sustainability in Real Estate

In a landmark move to accelerate digital transformation and sustainability in the region’s real estate sector, Al-Futtaim Real Estate has entered into a strategic partnership with Siemens to deliver intelligent building solutions and advance decarbonisation across its extensive property portfolio.

The collaboration combines Al-Futtaim Real Estate’s deep market expertise with Siemens’ cutting-edge technology to create smarter, more efficient, and environmentally responsible buildings across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The alliance also includes Al-Futtaim Contracting, which will oversee implementation and integration of Siemens’ advanced systems.

Intelligent Building Solutions and Digital Integration

Under the partnership, Siemens’ Building X, part of the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio, will be deployed alongside AI-driven Building Management Systems (BMS), fire detection and suppression solutions, and energy optimisation technologies across Al-Futtaim Real Estate’s assets. These technologies will transform the company’s existing buildings into intelligent, data-driven environments while laying the foundation for human-centric autonomous buildings of the future.

As an immediate step, Al-Futtaim Contracting will roll out Building X across selected properties as a proof of concept, showcasing the platform’s ability to enhance energy efficiency and occupant experience through real-time monitoring and predictive analytics.

Sustainability is a core pillar of the partnership. Through energy audits and consultancy studies, the collaboration aims to define a clear decarbonisation roadmap aligned with UAE Net Zero 2050 targets.
