Ajman Department of Tourism launches Eastern European roadshow to boost global tourism partnerships
The Ajman Department of Tourism Development (ADTD) has launched a promotional roadshow across Eastern Europe to strengthen international tourism cooperation and position Ajman as a premier global travel destination.
Led by H.E. Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director General of ADTD, the roadshow runs from October 26 to 31, 2025, with key stops in Warsaw (Poland), Budapest (Hungary), and Prague (Czech Republic).
The delegation will meet with leading tourism stakeholders, travel agencies, and hospitality investors to promote Ajman’s cultural appeal, tourism offerings, and investment opportunities. The initiative seeks to expand Ajman’s network of international partners and explore new markets with high tourism potential.
H.E. Alhashmi stated that the roadshow reflects Ajman’s strategic direction to enhance global visibility and diversify its source markets, saying:
“This tour marks a pivotal milestone in our journey to broaden our network of international partners and open new avenues of collaboration with emerging European markets. Guided by a clear vision, we aim to position Ajman as a leading tourism destination that harmoniously blends authentic Emirati heritage with modern sophistication.”
He further highlighted the emirate’s focus on sustainable tourism growth, adding that initiatives like this are designed to strengthen Ajman’s role within the UAE’s national tourism landscape, enhance investment in hospitality, and boost visitor numbers.
Eastern Europe has emerged as a growing source market for the UAE, with tourists increasingly drawn to the country’s rich culture, entertainment options, and hospitality standards. Ajman, in particular, has seen rising hotel occupancy rates and longer overnight stays in recent years, signaling a positive trend in visitor demand.
The roadshow will also foster knowledge exchange in tourism promotion and marketing, supporting ADTD’s vision to sustainably grow the tourism sector and increase its contribution to the national economy.
