ADPIC Signs Agreement With Trojan Construction Holding to Support Emirati Talent Development Through Bunaa Programme
Abu Dhabi Projects and Infrastructure Centre (ADPIC) has signed a strategic agreement with Trojan Construction Holding to support the implementation of the Bunaa Programme, a long-term initiative focused on developing Emirati talent within Abu Dhabi’s infrastructure sector.
The agreement was signed during the Abu Dhabi Infrastructure Summit (ADIS) in the presence of senior UAE officials, including Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei, Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, and Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa.
The agreement was formally signed by Maysarah Mahmoud Eid and Ahmed Al Shamsi.
Focus on Practical Infrastructure Training
Under the agreement, Trojan Construction Holding will contribute to the Bunaa Programme by offering:
- On-the-job training opportunities
- Mentorship and technical guidance
- Exposure to live infrastructure projects
- Career progression support aligned with industry requirements
The Bunaa Programme is a structured three-year career development initiative designed to equip UAE Nationals with practical expertise across key infrastructure disciplines, including:
- Engineering
- Project management
- Procurement
- Project execution
The programme follows a rotational training model across consultants, contractors, and developers to help participants gain broad industry exposure and practical experience.
Supporting Abu Dhabi’s Long-Term Infrastructure Vision
Maysarah Mahmoud Eid said the initiative reflects ADPIC’s commitment to building a future-ready national workforce capable of supporting Abu Dhabi’s long-term development goals.
“Through the Bunaa Programme, we are creating a structured path that equips Emirati professionals with the skills, experience, and industry exposure required to contribute meaningfully to the delivery of complex, large-scale projects,” he said.
He added that strengthening human capital remains central to building a resilient infrastructure ecosystem that supports sustainable economic growth across the emirate.

Ahmed Al Shamsi described talent development as a key pillar of long-term industry advancement.
“Our partnership with ADPIC through the Bunaa Programme enables us to actively contribute to shaping the next generation of professionals by providing practical, on-the-ground experience within real project environments,” he said.
Al Shamsi added that the initiative supports the UAE’s broader vision of developing a highly skilled national workforce while promoting operational excellence and knowledge transfer across the infrastructure sector.
