Acronis, a global leader in cyber protection, has announced the inauguration of a new Cyber Cloud data center in Dubai, marking a strategic move to capitalize on the region’s rapid technological advancements and growing digitization.

This latest addition to the United Arab Emirates' (UAE) data center landscape aligns with projections of a 16 percent compound annual growth rate in IT load capacity by 2029, reflecting the country’s escalating demand for advanced technological infrastructure.

The Acronis Cyber Cloud Data Center, the company's first venture into the UAE's data center market, underscores its commitment to delivering secure and reliable cybersecurity solutions. Compliant with ISO 27001 and IEC 22237 standards, the facility will offer state-of-the-art hardware, robust network infrastructure, and high-performance storage systems, rivaling leading data centers worldwide.

With a focus on meeting evolving customer needs, the new data center will provide Acronis partners in the region with access to cutting-edge cyber protection solutions. This empowerment aims to enable partners to innovate services and efficiently manage data protection requirements, while also ensuring faster access, continuous data availability, and adherence to data sovereignty regulations.

Ziad Nasr, General Manager Middle East at Acronis, highlighted the critical role of the Cyber Cloud Data Center in addressing the escalating cyber threats facing businesses regionally and globally. He emphasized Acronis' integrated solutions, leveraging AI and machine learning, as uniquely positioned to tackle emerging challenges.

In addition to the data center launch, Acronis has expanded its product lineup with tailored solutions for the Middle East and North Africa market. These include Managed Detection and Response (MDR) and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), providing Managed Service Providers (MSPs) with comprehensive security frameworks and rapid recovery capabilities against modern cyber threats.
